PeerTAC Workforce Development Institute
The Peer Technical Assistance Centers, PeerTACs, present the PeerTAC Workforce Development Institute! This virtual training opportunity is designed to equip certified peers with knowledge to thrive in their current or future roles.
The third iteration of this training series is focused on equipping peers with the tools they may need to advance their career. Set to take place over two days, we welcome you to participate in one or both training days! The same registration link will be used for both August 25th & August 26th for ease of those wishing to attend all sessions.
Training Topics will include:
- Continuing Higher Education in Peer Support & Adjacent Work
- Professional Networking for Peers
- Working Successfully with your Supervisor as a Peer Recovery Supporter
- Identifying & Planning Career Goals
To receive continuing education credits for participating in the PeerTAC Workforce Development Institute participants must:
- Register through Zoom using a valid email and name.
- Be present & on camera for the training.
- May not be operating a vehicle during training times.
