Statewide Consumer Network (SCN)


OhioPRO is a recipient of a Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Statewide Consumer Network (SCN) Grant. The purpose of this program is to enhance statewide mental health consumer-run organizations’ to promote mental health and related service system capacity and infrastructure development to be consumer-centered and targeted toward recovery and resiliency, and consumer-driven by promoting the use of consumers as agents of transformation. The SCN grant program also seeks to address the needs of underserved and under-represented consumers, including those from ethnic, racial, or cultural minority groups; sexual orientation and gender minority individuals; those with histories of chronic homelessness or involvement with the criminal justice system; and those with mental health and co-occurring disorders (COD).

OhioPRO offers technical assistance for organizations interested in becoming State Certified Peer Run Organizations. 

Certification assistance includes mentorship and technical assistance as well as a Certification Bootcamp training series for potential PROs.
